E-Mortal delivers a refreshing, original and intelligent
brand of lyric-heavy, and stellar production, which hints
at the bright future ahead of him as both an artist and
producer. With a stunning debut album back in 2005, and
letting himself into the latin market in 2006 and 2007.
Originally hailing from
Nicaragua, E-Mortal's musical background began at a age
18, with a couple of friends. But his fate was to be
sealed later in 2000 when he started taking his talent
more serious and helped start an independent label (Penetraitor
Inc).
Weaned on artists such as
Bone Thugs N Harmony, Nas, and Big Pun, E-Mortal later
fell in love with the idea of producing for other acts and
in 2004 formed his first production company "E-Mortal
Produkshunz"
Eventually deciding to go his own way, after parting with
the label in 2004, E-Mortal single handedly released his
debut album "Poison Tongue". Maintaining his local buzz
with multiple songs on radio, and performing at many
different venues in Canada, he's shared the stage with
artists' such as: Jully Black, IRS, In Essence, Verse and
was part of a competition to perform with Juelz Santana,
Joe Budden and Fabolous.
In the spring of 2005 E-Mortal signed with an independent
label (Life Records) owned by long time friend Verse as a
solo artist.
E-Mortal's debut (Poison
Tongue) was released on October 31, 2004, and is available
in the CDs page.
His second full length album
which includes the radio single "Put Ya Cups Up" and
is currently titled "Spanglish" has a Spring 2008
release date.
